After an extensive search Sun's are please to announce S-Trend Sportswear have been chosen as the new uniform supplier. Greg Smith, Regional Director stated "Now that we have partnered with S-Trend Sportswear we need to start thinking about new designs. So we would like to take this opportunity to invite all Sun's members to to get involved in the designing process by submitting their design. Southern Suns new logo was successfully voted in at today's Special General Meeting. Regional Director Greg Smith stated after reviewing 15 different options the committee settled on a logo. We then posted the proposed logo on Facebook to gain further feedback from our affiliates. Today I'm am pleased to announce the logo was official voted in at the Special general meeting.

Talent and Taryn Love go hand in hand. NSW Touch Football will be delivering Level 2 Coaching Courses in Sydney & Nelson Bay. These are the final course prior to both the 2014 Vawdon Cup & 2014 Country Championships. It is also important to note that the minimum accreditation for coaches at these events is Level 2. ONE Wagga teenager is hoping to become the latest in a long line of the city's best athletes to represent Australia in touch football. Wagga High School student Campbell Lovell has been named in the national under 18 men's squad. He is one of 25 young talents from around Australia chosen in the preliminary squad. NSW Touch Football Association (NSWTA) in partnership with the Australian Sports Commission through the Active After-school Communities (AASC) program have created a unique opportunity for NSWTA and Wollongong Touch Association. Driving a car purchased for under $1000 from Perth to Darwin, they will be raising money for the Cancer Council.
